How do you wire a switch hook?
The power source is from the light fixture.
I would like to control that light by a wall
switch.  How do I route the power to the wall switch so I can break the circuit?

wire from circut goes to wall outlet. put on /off switch above it getting power from outlet. run new wire to celing fan back to on / off switch run wire from walloutlet to one leg offto new switch other leg to netrual?

run a 14-2 romex from light down to switch box and in the light box wire nut the hot(black wire) from power source to white wire on new wire ran and use remaining white and black wire to connect light fixture and then down in switch box connect white and black wires to switch white being your hot and black being your switch leg
