HELP!!!  my boy ferret has a severe attachment problem.  He is so attached to me that he scratches at his cage when i open the door, digs in his litter(all of the sudden) digs in his food, and will not respond to ANY training.  These behaviors have just begun, and are getting really hard to take.I roll over in bed and he thinks i'mup and starts freaking out--mostly at 3 or 4 am!  He has a playmate, a huge cage, tons of toys, clean food, water, litter, and bedding.  I let them out everyday to run the house for hours, but he insists on following me and wanting me to hold him.  I thought this would pass when he grew up, but the older he gets the more he does it.  I'm running out of options and sleep. I have done time outs, scuffing, yelling, tapping his nose(bad i know!) removing toys, ignoring, giving treats and time with me, water spraying, bitter apple, new cage arrangements, new toys(i rotate them),pretty much everything. It's been over 6 months. HELP ME!!
