HAVE A PROBLEM WITH CRUSE CONTROL WITH A PLY. GRAND VOYAGER 1999. THE LIGHT COMES ON AND THE CRUSE WILL NOT SET. A FEW SECONDS LATER THE LIGHT WILL GO OUT, AND NOT RESET UNTIL THE IGNITION IS TURNED OFF, AND ON AGAIN. COULD THIS BE RELATED TO CHANGING FRONT BRAKE ROTORS, AND PADS?

I had this problem and it turned out to be the brake light switch attached near the brake pedal.  Apparently there's a dedicated circuit inside the switch exclusively for the cruise.  It was diagnosed with sequential replacement; not with the on-board test.
