IN 1750 a Pit Bull was spotted attacking a man in southern Georgia. That was the first sighting.

pitt bulls found there way to america is 1870 and they were known as the"PIT DOG"  and in 1936 they were entered into the AKC in 1936

I read on the AKC website that they first started coming over to America around 1870, but the breed was altered around 1930 from the original breed from England to be stronger.

During the second world war when a secret radioactive mine was put in the ground. an enormous group of rampaging bulls walked over it, thus blowing it up and making a pit full of bull

Sometime in the 1900's. There would have been crosses that look something like them anyway. Most "pitbulls" you see around arent pure bred, its easy to get a dog that looks like a pit bull by crossing a Staffie with a Labrador for example. Its hard to tell the exact date.
