my dog is about 8 months old.  the neighbors have a female dog in heat.  i don't know if he has breed her or not but today i noticed he was bleeding from his ? (don't know the right word for it). is this normal?

yes, this is normal but i am a eleven year old but when they are bleeding from their bottom spot  it means that they are in heat that is normal

Yes it is normal for a dog to do this but this is only when he breeds with another dog or he can smell she is is heat.

I believe the 11 y/o pet owner was referring to a female dog. am I right to assume the 8 mo. old male dog is what you are referring to. lilly

is it true a female dog when bred will stop bleeding when she becomes pregnant
