Probably as soon as their weaned at the latest.  You could most likely do it any time if you made sure to keep their head above water.

I think you can bathe a puppy at any age, so long as you keep its head out of the water and don't let any get in its nose or mouth, or eyes if it's soapy. However, I'd ask a vet or a reliable breeder. Don't bathe them until you're positive it's safe.

We were bathing our puppies (lab/rott mix) at 4 weeks.  Mama rottweiler kept a close eye on us, too!  Our biggest puppy frequently slept in the feed pan so he could wake up every few minutes and have another meal!  He needed frequent baths.  They were (and still are) house dogs.

At that age use a gentle puppy shampoo.

asche@balticom.lv,
I went to your website. You are NOT a repsonsible breeder. You are a backyard breeder. People do NOT buy from this lady! You will only end up with an unhealthy dog with many health problems. Her dogs are poorly bred & should not be used for breeding.

As far as when can you bathe a puppy, call up your vet. You should be able to bathe them at around 12 weeks.

hey,
well you should start bathing them until they are at least 1 month old so that they are not afraid of water in the future hope it helps.
