A hair growing out of the eye. has anyone had this happen??what causes this? is this something you need to worry about in a breeding program. has never happen to me before.is this hereditary? or just something that sometimes happens??

My shih tzu puppy daisy also has a similar problem...do u mean the hair is growing from the top of her eye? like right off the edge of the eyelid and its constantly in his eyes and making them goopy? we cut those hairs because they seemed to really be irritating her eyes and her eyes were tearing a lot.

We have a cocker spaniel and have just noticed hair growing out of the eye ball itself.  There is about ten hairs.  Did you find out what this was???  We have just noticed it tonight.  puppy is only 3 weeks old so eyes have only been open for 4 days

i goteted like 4 hairz in my i once i didnt no what i coulded of dung

Could you please contact me about your dogs problem as I am curious about what it was the vet said. My puppy has hair growing out of her eyeball. I don't know what to do my vet said it was pink eye but I don't think so.

IF YOU HAVE HAIR GROWING ON YOUR DOGS EYE ITS BECAUSE A HAIR MALICULE GOT TO THE EYE CAUSING IT TO GROW BECAUSE IT HAD A LOT OF NUTRIENTS FOR THE HAIR TO GROW.
