Can I recover insurance money, that was to go to me; but was put in my brother's account. hAVE SENT HIM ALL DOCUMENTATION, BUT HE STILL REFUSES.The insurance co suggests hiring a lawyer. Am not in favour of it.(costs) I live in Canada, he in Germany. Also have not received final financial statement. My mother signed a paper a few days before her death, apparently duly witnessed, making my brother the Executor. I agreed to share the actual amount of the estate with him, though I was sole heir. When I asked about insurances, he told me there were none. Through the internet I found out different.I want to handle this peacefully. But very much need the ca. 3000.00 DM or Euros. Any ideas,Please!!?? HM
