I have a Ph.D. in Psychology. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Does anyone know if any state excepts third party insurances for LPC's

Does anyone have experience receiving reimbursement from any insurance panels for being an LPC?

Thank you.

Please feel free to email me at Phdshrink@aol.com with any constructive feedback.

I hold a Ed.D in counseling psych and am a LPC.

I currently work within an o/p clinic in Connecticut, in which Medicaid reimburses for services.  With recent funding cutbacks, the funding of private 1:1 sessions was d/c'd

Don't know if this is helpful, as I was unsure if your ? was directed at services offered privately or as part of a clinic.

What have your findings been ?
