Hi,
my visa category is  h-4. and i have no green card.  i m staying in u.s since month ago. but i want to start my study actually i m indian and i am B. E. mechanical and now want to do m.s in u.s can i start my study?
2.if i can start my study then can i change my visa category means from h4 to f1?

1.You can search for the Universities near your location. Goto www.google.com

2.You can change your visa status & it might take time. You can apply for that rather than staying quiet.

hi
i am going 2 us on h4 visa n i want 2 do my masters.i heard that 2 do on the h4 visa we have 2 wait 4 6 months.i want some details regarding this.

Hi,

  I would say that you need not change into F1 visa since it may cause complications when u want to change to h1 & then greencard. Only advantage in F1 is that  you may get financial aid & OPT,CPT time for you to change into H1. If You stay in H4 however,if you wait for a year you can get a state residency for which it is enough to pay in state tuition fees rather than international student fees which is more economical.But the constraint is you will not be eligible for financial aid in H4. In H4 visa people are eleigible to study but not get any sort of pay. So think abt it.
