Can anyone give me any information on America's most successful counterfeiter - in that he worked for the longest period without being caught? It wasn't that his forgeries were particularly good - they were hand-drawn - but that he only chose to counterfeit one-dollar bills, which people rarely check. There was a radio program that mentioned him a few years ago, here in England, but I never wrote his name down. I can't find any information on him. From what I remember from the radio, he lived in Brooklyn, New York. He was an old man when finally arrested.
