good you are in search of truth about in vaisnava religion. you may think upto how much this will help to humanity-a general question.for this you have to see over view of vaisnava religion. -vaisnavas never do any harm to any living being. -they ovoid illicit sex,gambling,meat eating,drinking alcohols,steroids etc; -they primarily view on vegetarian foods -they develop green on earth -they study deep philosophy of every religion and encourage the good. in a short we can say that they are human friendly or qualified humans however to understand vaisnava philosophy deep is not a simple thing.one should cultivate bakthi to lord vishnu and only by grace of lord vishnu or his Representative one can attain prefect knowledge one can think that weather that these people really follow all the rules specified. yes they really follow.you can enquire. any questions sent to bh05@rediffmail.com
