In February 2006, I received an illegal u-turn citation (violation of code 21461) from the San Mateo Court, covering Redwood City in the SF Bay Area.  The ticket was $146.

Illegal U turn in California cost $140.00 to $160.00

I got an illegal U-turn ticket in Redwood City, CA for 150 dollars in August 2006.
