'Cue for Treason' was written by Geoffrey Tr ease, not William Shakespeare. It was the first library book I ever borrowed, age seven in the 1940s.

My god you can't be serious. Written by Shakespeare? Judging by your intellect shown on here, if Shakespeare had written it, you wouldn't have a clue what it meant.

I had to read it for English, thought it was great once Kit and Peter actually met Shakespeare and get on with it. The beginning was slow but necessary for the understanding of the story. And, uh, Bob George, that isnt the best wait of asking for anything, so good luck.

This book was awful weird and all you ppl are wrong cuz it wasn't even written by Shakespeare. And the fact that Shakespeare was in it alone shows that it takes place in the 1600's

Ummm, Shakespeare is dead. It wasn't written by him. It's by Geoffery Trease. But then again, he's also dead.

ya, there are many clues which can show that it is set in the 1600s. e.g. Shakespeare, the Curtain Theater-->which is owned by Burbage(a real historical person), the Global (or is it Globe??) Theater, and the customs....
lol, this is a book written by Shakespeare?? LOL, did he have a translator or something?
