I got a 7-9 year old border collie mix from the humane society and she is aggressive towards other dogs.  First she will nip them in the face and then she will go under their belly and nip them.  I was wondering if it was a herding behavior because she never actually bites hard.  It never draws blood.  But she growls and makes a lot of noise while doing this.  I wanted also to know if there was anything i can do to correct it.  She pays no attention to me when this happens.  I have to pull her back from the leash.
