My Wife & I have been married for 3 yrs now.  I just found out that I have a low-sperm count.  Tried to have kids...no luck.  If Adoption is our last hope, is it possible for "me" to adopt a child without my wife knowing about it?  I would really like to surprise her like that.  It would be the greatest gift, her coming home to find out shes a Mommy.  Can I do the adoption process myself without her knowing about it, or does he "have to" be involved?  I would like opinions as well as answers to whether it is a good idea or not.  Thanks!
