Was Commandant Karl Fritsch brought to justice after the war ? I cannot seem to find out any thing about him other than that he was the person who sentenced Father Kolbe to death.

My father, Captain Charles Arnold-Baker (he was born Wolfgang von Blumenthal) was in MI6 in Norway. He arrested the deputy commndant of Auschwitz there. I presume this must have been Fritsch, though my father is now 87 and cannot remember the name of the man he arrested.
