I have heard that Prince is an excellent basketball player,  in fact I heard that was selected to the all-state team in Minnesota, when he was in high school.  Is this true?

No,
The fact of the matter is that although
Prince is a musical genius, he is small
enough to kick across a half court.

On the Dave Chappelle Show (Comedy Central) they did a skit about how Prince kicked a** on the basketball court, even in his pointy little boots.  It was said to be a true story.

I will slam Prince back to his former name. Stick to singing and dancing.

ok this is a proposition. someone actually go find out how good prince is at basketball. i think that a lot of people want verification of his skills, and without some real evidence i remain unconvinced.

a possible plan of order (POO)

someone formally write (a letter) to prince, challenging him to a televised match

Kevin Smith, ( dogma, Jay and silent bob, Clerks), did a biography on prince. It is true, although unbelievable, prince will kick your @$$ in Basketball if you challenge him.

I heard that he was a good high school basketball player that was recruited to play college ball but didn't' end up playing -- likely because of his music career.

I've heard reports from lawyers that work closely with First Avenue, a famous concert venue / club in Minneapolis where Prince often gives shows to extremely lucky audiences.  The word on the street from the First Avenue management is that Prince is a highly talented at basketball, although short.  While I can't verify that he was all-state in high school, and I doubt he was (Prince spent most of his time writing and performing music in high school), I've heard that Prince does play basketball in his..."blouse."  It sounds to good to be true, but when it comes to Prince, you really can't make this stuff up.
