Hi..well if it only has one fold and folds are hard to see sometimes. You need to hold the note in front of a good light source moving it an angle to spot them.Let's say it has only one fold then dealer buying price is $10.If it has 2 or 3 folds a dealer buying price $8.50.If the note has tears or stain, holes or the paper is limp then were looking at $5.50-$6.00 range at best.

I HAVE A 1953 SERIES B $5 BILL, RED INK, C37059065A.  IT HAS COUNTERFEIT PEN MARKINGS ON IT AND I'VE BEEN QUESTIONED "IS THIS REAL".  I REALIZE COUNTERFEIT PENS WERE NOT AVAILABLE IN 1953, SO DOES THIS STILL INDICATE A FAKE BILL?  WHAT WOULD BE THE CURRENT VALUE AND WHAT DOES 'FOLDS' MEAN?  IS THIS HOW MANY TIMES THE BILL HAS BEEN FOLDED?
