The answer given by the previous poster is incorrect. The piano piece at the end of the ER episode "On The Beach" is NOT "This Woman's Work" by Kate Bush.

This question has been asked by a number of people and so far no answer has been found. Someone once suggested that it was "Benedictus" by Karl Jenkins, but that too turned out to be false. I've looked in countless places for the name of the song, composer, or even any other place the piece may have appeared but I've had no luck.

Seeing as how so many people have asked about it on the internet and absolutely no one seems to have an answer, the piece may be an original composition intended just for that scene. If that is true then you can expect it to be very difficult to ever obtain. Which is too bad because I thought it was a beautiful tune.

If anyone can identify it, PLEASE post the name of the song title and composer/artist!
