How do flight attendants manage on income under 15,000 per year?

Most flight attendants try to live with as many roommates as possible.  We usually take advantage of any leftover food on flights (which is getting more and more scarce), and since most of us are based in or around large cities, it's pretty easy to find great happy hour specials for dinner.  The fas that seem to be doing the best either live with their parents or a bread winning partner.  There are a lot of creative ways to squeeze more from your money when you have no other choice.
