With regards to Partial Packet Discard and the impact on the GCRA's  When discarding due to non-conformance you would expect that with PPD enabled on an AAL-5 connection that the non-conforming cell along with all remaining cells of the PDU except for the AAL-5 trailer will be dropped.  My question is what is the impact on the policing algorithms themselves?  Is the discarding of the other cells suppose to cause any adjustment of the theoretical arrival times or any other parameters in the GCRA's  This is important because if the answer is yes it can cause the total number of cells discarded due to policing non-conformance to be reduced from that of the same connection without PPD enable.  I do realize that having PPD enabled does increase the total count of discarded cells (GCRA non-conformance + PPD = total discard).  Is there any info publish anywhere on this?
