I can't get sound out of my speakers! I recently had my old  stereo reconnected through my ignition and cruised with sound for 3 months, then one morning no sound. I replaced the unit, and the new unit will not produce sound either. I hooked a 3rd unit up to  one speaker and it did produce sound, but it's not a unit I want to use. How do I get sound out of my new radio?
I have a 66 Mustang and the first head unit was a Custom Autosound made to fit my old dash. I'd had it for 4 years without worry. I replaced that unit with  a Jensen model and it also did not produce sound. The only variable I can think of is I also had an 8 track player  hooked-up to the ignition, but I never played them at the same time. Thanks for your help.
