Hi..well if this note was in Uncirculated condition the best it would sell for is $6.If it had 2 or 3 folds then it's value would be $2.50.Since your note is well circulated probably grading fine. This note is very common with collectors and in this fine grade it would only be worth face value.
Hope this helps.

Pete

I have a 1935F Silver Series, What I can't figure out is if you look at the secretary of treasury(Robert B. Anderson) and the treasurer (Ivy Baker Priest). These two individuals where not in the office of the treasurer until 1957-1961 for Anderson and 1953-1961 for Priest. Why where these silver certificates signed by them if they weren't in office? I find this very strange. Take a look at yours and then look up who was treasurer in 1935. It doesn't match up. Can anyone figure this one out?

Hi, I have a one dollar silver certificate, about uncirculated, very crisp, with one light crease in the center. Edges are sharp and the bill has its original sheen and very bright color. It is series 1935 F, and the serial number is X 31658961 I. The bill does not contain the phrase "In God We Trust", as this saying did not appear until the series 'H' bills. Would anyone have a clue as to how much it could be worth? There is so much content on the net, it's hard to discern a correct value. Thank you!

You can call a coin collecting store and they can tell you the book value on all of the above.  The 1950's silver certificates are not worth any money yet.  I have two and am waiting....  Plus, have any friends that work at a bank?  That is where I got mine.

Leave our money alone. Don't you fools know that these bills were for fun and games between us gentlemen. They were never meant to be used as a currency, they have no value!
