Is the colour of clothing usually worn by students (ie. black or white, depending upon style) in any way significant? I couldn't find anything in your FAQ; maybe I missed it, or maybe this is a "groaner" question. If so, very sorry! I just want to know if there's a good reason why I shouldn't dye my gi purple or whatever (apart from risking my sefou'sdispleasure and exasperation).
