PLEASE, DO NOT WORRY....
My German shepherd's ears went down a lot to. It's just that the cardilage in the ear is not fully developed. He's/she's still very young. If they don't stand after he/she turns 1 year then you have to worry. BUT, PLEASE CHECK YOUR SHEPHERDS PEDIGREES AND ASK THE BREEDER IF ANY OF HIS/HER SHEPHERDS EVER HAD DOWN EARS IN THEIR BLOOD-LINES, IF THEY HAVE, THEN HE/SHE MIGHT HAVE DOWN EARS. My pup has fully erect ears and his ears didn't go up untill he was almost 6 months old. Just give them a little while to stand up, if they don't after 1 years, ask your vet what to do.

If you massage your puppy's ears it gets the blood flowing in them and helps them to stand up.  You can also tape them by folding them in half length ways and put one small piece of tape all the way around close to the top.

Maybe you unintentionally damaged the cartilage by over petting his/her ears. Check your vet!

Dont worry give it time,if they dont go up by eight months then you might want to consider taping you dogs ears and to find out how to do that go on google and search ''taping german shepherd ears''.
