HI my name is Kim Rosario. I have been interested in Prof. body piercing for about 6 years now. I have been piercing for about 2 years without certification which I know is bad, but unlike many other so called piercers I have researched every piercing I do extensively.( hard to believe but I have never botched a piercing) I own an autoclave and use it only for opening pliers, closing pliers, and clamps. My needles and jewelry are bought in bulk pre sterilized in individual packets and i NEVER reuse needles or jewelry and of course I use disposable latex gloves and proper sterilization of the area to be pierced. I have been desperate to actually get an apprenticeship with a reputable shop but so far my efforts to find a shop that is accepting apprenticeships have failed. Not one shop that I have contacted in Philadelphia is accepting and my hopes are beginning to fade away. I was hoping that you would be able to help me in anyway in my quest to become a Prof. body piercer. Thank you so much. Please email me if you can or cannot help me.
