Hi,
I am about to write a parallel PLOT3D to HDF5 filter. The first step is to read in parallel a multi-block plot3d file that has a header of integers describing how many 3d arrays are there and what are their shapes, followed by the real array data:

integer nm                        ! number_of_blocks
integer :: I_1Max, I_2Max, ... I_nmMax, J_1Max, J_2Max, ... K_nmMax
real    :: a_1  (1:I_1Max,1:J_1Max,1:K_1Max)
...
real    :: a_nm (1:I_nmMax,1:J_nmMax,1:K_nmMax)

I use mpich with f90 but any piece of code that treat a similar problem will be a good jump-start for me.
I'll appreciate any comments or links.
Thanks,
Ted
