i am trying to program the modes of a media converter ic using a 8051 microcontroller. for this i have to develop or say design a 8051 circuit . i am writing a program in c and that will be stored in the 8051 in hex. my problem is that i don't know how to use a c cross compiler and how i am going to design this circuit.
