well i'mguessing its a captive ring. what i did with mine is i used pliers. i squeezed on the ball and it came off it could have been juss dumbluck or whatever but hey it worked for me. if not that then cut it off with a good pair of scissors or get it taken out by your piercer thats your best bet.

Yeah, i used scissors and just where the ball meets the ring use them like your cutting and it pops right out.

I would suggest that you soak a cotton wool pad in warm water and then gently turn the ring whilst holding the pad on it. That should do the trick!

its probably a ring with a little ball on it right? either go to a piercing place and have them change it for you, or take like needle nose pliars and put the ends in the ring and slowly open it up

yeah, its probably a captive ring. last night i had to deal with taking mine out- take a pliers and squeeze the ends of the ring together while turning the ball.. it will get really loose and then it will just sort of pop off.

not being able to turn your ring is a bad thing. that means the crusties are holding it in place and an infection could occur. about the pliers, that would work. just be careful not to scratch the ring if you plan on using it again because any scratches will have bacteria growing inside-eeewwwww. that could also give you an infection. if you use pliers try putting like electrical tape on it-just to be safe.

The best answer to that is let your piercer take out your piercing, I had the same problem trying to take my ring out too, like i kept turning and turning it but its not one of those screw on ones you have to bend the sides apart and the ball will fall out, but its really touch and I'm to scared to do it, i'llprobably end up hurting myself

I had a captive ring (the circle one) at first and I just pulled the two sides away from the little ball and it came off.

If its a little ring with a ball on it then its best to either use some needle nose pliers or simply a pair of scissor. thread the ball onto the scissors/ pliers and slowly open the scissors/ pliers up until the ball just pops off. be careful not to loose the ball when doing so. doing it over a bowl is probably best.

if its not a ball, but looks like one you should twist it off with tweezers like u would a cap, it should come right off
