How old do you have to be to get a tattoo without your parents signing.Is there any places around Pictou County or Halifax area in Nova Scotia who do tattooing

No.u have to b 18 or older to get it by your self.

You have to be 18 to get it done by yourself.
There is a place in the Halifax area who DO do Tattooing(Merchant Marie's,Excuse the Spelling...)

Could someone e-mail me *flip_lozer20022@hotmail.com* and let me know how old you have to be in BC Canada Penticton area to get a tattoo without my parents being there, plus my bf'smom could do it if that makes a difference

Hi, You need a parents permission. But the best place is probably Scotia Tattooing, in Dartmouth.

You dont have to be any age in HRM....show us the actual law. It whatever the peircer is comfortable with.

i think you shouldn't have to bring your parents to get a tattoo if you are 16 and older because suppose you have no parents and you live on your own and getting a tattoo is a special thing that you can only get at that moment then all is lost and its all because you have to be 18

Depending on where you go, you can go in as young as 15. Since shops in NS aren't regulated, it's up to the shop to decide who is too young to get one. Most say that it is 18, but will allow you to get one at a younger age if you have proof of parental/ guardian consent.

sorry again, that was my cuz, i am not letting him ever touch my PC, if u wanna kno where i live, go to 22 sackville drive. i will give you a face to face appologie. i might not be there though, seeing how i am out all the time with my girlfriend.
