Just purchases a 1995 Pass at VR6.The automatic trans fluid...

Just purchases a 1995 Pass at VR6.The automatic trans fluid was very dark and sweet smelling so I drained it, put in new filter ect.
Getting ready to put in fluid I see it says use Dexron II,do not use Dexron III. What fluid should I use? Is AF+3 for Chryslers ok if it also says AF+2 on the bottle? Also changed oil without knowing what was in the car, synthetic or petroleum based. Added Shell Rottella 10W 40. Is that ok ? Thank you
