Add the Chrysler friction additive to your rear differential. Also make sure you use non-synthetic oil.

Get rid of the truck asap, mine just went out on me at 150,000. It blew out on me on the highway.  It's not worth your time to mess with.

If you rear-end is popping, but not all the time, you may have a chipped or broken spider gear in your rear-end. these spider gear do not rotate when the truck is traveling in a straight line because both rear wheels are spinning at the same speed. However when turning these gears rotate to allow the outside wheel to rotate faster than the inside wheel. You need to remove rear plate on differential and check for broken gear teeth.
