I also am wondering about a five dollar bill with stars next to the serial numbers. It looks normal otherwise; like one of the newer five dollar bills

I found a star on my 10 dollar what does it mean? Also i want to know if it has any value.

this means that the bill with that serial number was damaged in printing and therefore another identical bill with the same serial number was printed except with a star after the serial number.
