DICOM (DIC) files are commonly used in medical imaging.

DCM means Digital Imaging and Communication in Medical.it is used for MRI Or CT scan

DCMs have a bitmap inside them, so if you have a few you can do header analysis on them.

DCM is a extension for DICOM images.This image format appear like this
         first 128 bits preamble that is they are null and followed by the words DCIM.its a two big format file.if loading this as a ordinary image "out of memory exception" may occurs.
