Our dog ATTACKS our mail when it enters the house via mail slot. I know she is protecting our house, but she has shredded important documents, including photos. Any ideas how to stop her from doing this? We have already tired putting cayenne pepper in the slot

The best thing to do would be to put up a mail box outside the house, that way the dog wont ever get the chance.
