How does an Http webmail works, I know about SMTP,Imap and POP3 but Internet email such as yahoo and hotmail. how does it realy works from sender to reciever and what protocol it uses.

I think HTTP is outer layer, but it actually uses SMTP for sending mail and  IMAP for retrieving and displaying mail. HTTP just provides a user interface and web access. So the protocol is http over smtp for sending (sender to receiver); http over IMAP for retrieval (server to receiver).
