How many gasoline companies or distributors  are in the USA? What oil companies are in your state? Which gasoline distributors are related state to state?

This question is so large as to take a book to answer. This forum is probably not the place to seek that answer. Your question is more one of corporate structure than about gasoline.
I suggest you contact your public library to get the answer to this question.
The answer probably changes daily as companies move, merge and expand.
