I need to know how to install a 3 speed fan switch to a 220volt fan unit off of a heating/AC unit that I salvaged. Gonna use it in my garage. Got 2 purple wires coming out of the motor going to a square boxy item and they end there. The rest of the wires are fastened to a plug also hooked up to the motor. They are low medium and high speeds plus an orange wire that was hooked up as a common wire. So where do I hook up each 110 volt wire off of the cord that will plug into the 220volt outlet? My email is sdiaz57@hotmail.com
