My chi gets spooky when I try to pick her up at times, especially when she can't get in the bed. She's whinning and scratching to get in the bed with me. When I reach down to get her, she runs off. This could go on about 4 or 5 times and then she gives up and lets me pick her up. I have never been mean or agressive to her. She's not trained to any commands. I speak very calmly and soft to her.
