Does anyone know how I can get coffee stains out of old paper money.  I was keeping some Silver Certificates and a series of $2.00 bills in a Christmas mug.  My daughter was looking at them and accidentally put them back in the coffe mug NEXT to it....which was full of coffee....cream and sugar!!!!

Hi...I don't really recommend trying anything.Chances are you will make things worse. If the notes were valuable there are people called conservators who do repair work on rare currency.Of course there work is very expensive and not worth it on common notes. If you have any other questions let me know at marlofan@aol.com.

Does anyone know how I can remove coffee stains from the pages of a book? We aren't just looking at plain old black java here. We are talking milk and sugar too. Sigh. Yes, I know! What was I thinking? Reading and sipping coffee at the same time! Blame it on Starbucks!
