HOW CAN I CHECK FOR WATER IN GASOLINE?

There are commercially available pastes that can be smeared on a stick that will turn color when in contact with water.  Watesmo paper also will turn blue in presence of water.  I'll find a web site where these items can be purchased.

Water conducts electricity, gasoline doesn't. Check the electrical resistivity of your gas and compare it to a table.
