I have a 1/2 hp condenser motor with dual speeds high low.On the box it tells me 10mfd ,but on motor 5mfd,amped out 2.7 w5mfd,amped out 2.2w10mfd both rated at 370 volts.Motor 208 230 single phase.Question is which way do i go for best performance.

Two speed condenser motors usually have two speeds to be used in conjunction with an ambient control switch. If you only want to use 1 speed. You must use the high speed. And use the 10 mfd capacitor. If you really want to obtain lower energy consumption and you dont have a ambient control switch. I would reccomend installing the ambient control switch on it.
