I have been told that male puppies (chihuahuas) are very hard to house train? can someone please advise.  we owned a male pug when i was younger and we could never get him to stop lifting his leg in the house, so i know some breeds are hard to train.

I have girls, so can't be much help, but friends of mine have had success by having the dog neutered before he's six months old and really gets the idea of lifting the leg.

I have a little girl chi and a male the female is pregnant by the way but i would say that the females are alot easier to train .My male would left his leg and urinate on chairs, doors, wall , almost anything it takes alot of patience and alot of consistence training to potty train male chis

I have a 15 month old male chihuahua who was very difficult to house train. Despite constant reprimand and neutering he is now happy at doggy boot camp learning not to lift his leg. I ran an animal shelter and am very good with training dogs, this chihuahua has been a challenge
