Dimming Lights.  I have checked my service connections and all are tight but still have dimming with appliances starting.  I have a 100 amp panel that has a one pole breaker with both hot service cables attached.  Can the probelm be with the one pole connection? if so, can the breaker be changed to a 2-pole to eliminate the draw from the entire house supply? Also, the house is a 2001 double wide mobile home.

Your service connection may feel tight and still be the source of your problem.  If you have a good meter you can test for drop in power.  Eventually you probably will need to pull you meter and pull you main breaker out and inspect it.  Look for piting on the contacts.  This causes small arcing that causes the dimming.  If you find piting replace the nain breaker.
