If you let the car sit for a long time with the battery hooked up, the battery goes dead and you have to jump start the car. You should go get your battery tested to make sure it's good.

I had the same problem with my 85 Chrysler Fifth Avenue. Got a new computer installed into it and it runs fine now. It's an older car and NEEDS time to warm up, don't forget that. When I'd gotten mine(a hand-me-down)it ran okay at first, then the second time it was driven it would stall and shut down at Stop signs. The next day the car wouldn't even start. I took it to a mechanic and got a whole lot of "stuff" fixed on it. It took months to figure out the problem. The new comp fixed it up and all it needs is to simply have time to be warmed up. That's all I can tell you. If the problem persists take it to a mechanic whom you either know or you know won't over charge you because there might be some serious labor time put into it.
Good luck man!

check  that your wiring is ok. any connections that maybe corroded. i had a f250 ford that had a corroded harness on the coil. (a clip type) and at the same spot on road it would just stop the engine.
