I have a 7 month old Siamese Kitten that is fixated on the bathtub. He spends up to 15 mins several time per day hanging out under a leaky faucet. He seems to enjoy getting wet. The Vet is baffled. Anyone have any ideas?

Don't stress. There are a couple of breeds of cats that descend from a cat that likes to fish. I think that one of my cats is of this ilk and she loves to hang around the tub, play with the drips and rivers left after a shower and even stick her paws in when I am in the bath. Just one of those strange things that amuse our furry friends.

We have two siamese cats.  They both enjoy jumping into the shower after it has been used.  Sometimes we even find them in the kitchen sink.

I think they like to play with the dripping water and sometimes get a drink.

I have a Siamese who does the same thing.  Every morning when I take a shower, she sits outside the bathroom door.  When I'm done, she jumps in the tub and plays with the remaining water.  I haven't talked to a vet about this, but I wonder if it doesn't have something to do with the breed.  She has a lot of odd (but cute) habits I've never seen in other cats.
