Hi, this is possibly a stupid idea, but what the heck. There is a piece of music I want, but I don't know what it's called.
I thought it was in Jupiter the bringer of jolity, but no, I've looked at different jupiters, eg Mozart, no luck.
It's a gutsy bassy piece often used with films of heavy earthmoving machines. I will explore any suggestions. Thanks ianmac500.

Ian,
You might try "The Planets" by Gustav Holst.  It is frequently used in soundtracks.  Also, it directly inspired many soundtracks, particularly in the sci-fi genre.  For example, "Star Wars" music by John Williams.  (Listen to "Mars, Bringer of War" for the Empire theme.  In fact, "Mars" is rather bassy and may actually be the tune you have in mind.)  Hope this helps.
