I'm having difficulty installing Acrobat Reader 6.0 after download. I know my system requires Internet Explorer 5.01 or better to install the program. I have 5.0 but I went to Microsoft Windows update and downloaded some service packs which were supposed to boost Explorer to 6.0 or am I missing something here? I want to be able to view/print PDF files w/o printing forms where the words have no spaces like my older Acrobat Reader had done. How can I install the program when after I download I keep getting prompts to go back to microsoft.com and the same thing starts all over again, failure to install? Is there a previous older version of Acrobat Reader that will allow me to view and print w/o printing forms with no spaces that I can install?
