I have .windows 2000 server and I have exchange 2000 running...

I have .windows 2000 server and I have exchange 2000 running on it I am getting a backlash of about 10 gigs worth of Logs files that are named E00***.log each file is 5 megs I need to find a way to get ride of these files now here is the problem I cannot Manually delete them as some of them are needed for exchange to run Microsoft says that once you back-up your information store they will automatically be purged I have done a full back-up of the information store and they did not purge. What can i do to fix this problem

lorenzo make a backup automatically these log files will be deleted ; don't delete on your own.....
